Typical power over ethernet (POE) switches are rated to operate in temperatures up to 105 degrees F. If you are contemplating installing your POE switch somewhere that is likely to be higher temperatures than this, like an attic in hot country, then you will require a hardened industrial switch which will operate in temperatures of up to 185 degrees F. |
